Sport and Recreation Workshop 2022

Wednesday 23 November 8am - 3pm

The sessions will present established modules and electives for the Sport and Rec applied syllabus. The sessions will guide you through core topics, concepts and ideas, inquiry questions and subject matter. The workshop will target Project and Investigation Assessment Techniques in the Assessment workshops.  Being two of the most popular assessment techniques used in Sport & Rec, you will have access to authentic tasks and assessment criteria.

Recreation related elective – Outdoor Education Update and Pedagogical Decision Making

This session will provide an update on Outdoor Education and some new research on pedagogical decision-making and technology in applied settings. Post-pandemic has seen many developments in Outdoor Education Queensland. This session will provide some updates and from the Outdoor Educators Association of Queensland as well as some hands-on experiential learning activities. This session will also include some new research on pedagogical decision-making and technology.
